Our Philosophy

We have 100 years of collective experience and each of our partners has extensive experience practicing law at large, national firms.  We formed Gross Hartman in 2010 to offer clients a compelling alternative to larger law firms.  Our platform allows us to provide clients with the level of expertise and responsiveness typically associated with top tier national firms in a highly efficient manner, eliminating the overhead and redundancy often associated with larger firms.  We believe that this platform allows us to provide our clients with the most effective and cost effective representation. 

 
We have noticed that many large law firms appear to staff transactions as though staffing more attorneys on a transaction inevitably leads to a better client outcome.  We believe that a team of two or three experienced lawyers creates more value than a large team of primarily junior lawyers and we staff our transactions and client teams accordingly.  We also believe it is important for our partners to stay personally involved with client matters instead of simply passing along work to junior attorneys for training.  Thus, we only hire lawyers with excellent credentials and substantial experience handling complex transactional matters ensuring that our clients pay for results, not educating junior attorneys.

 
We have also developed a network of attorneys in specialty practice areas outside of our areas of expertise and, when necessary, involve the most appropriate specialist to ensure that clients receive timely and effective counsel in any necessary areas of expertise.
